Actress Daria Moroz to debut as director — Russian movie star has already started filming her first mini-series called “Sex. Before and after”. According to the creators, this is ironic a collection of novels about people and their relationships that tells what leads to sex and what happens right after it.

We start with a very lively, modern human history, very cinematic, in my opinion, in which we will talk about the fact that sex in our lives — not the main thing, – says Moroz about the first short story. – The main thing — how we enter it and how we exit it. How we change, find human combinations, fall apart or, conversely, stick, and so on, and how different we are before and after. All novels — these are life sketches, in which there is a lot of humor, irony, shifters and recognizable situations. We have an amazing pool of artists and an awesome production team. I believe that together we will make a great audience movie. And I am very grateful to Slava Dusmukhametov, who, for some reason, offered this project to me. For me, this is the first directing experience and it’s still a little scary, but, unexpectedly for myself, I feel in my place.
Daria Moroz herself, as well as Angelina Pakhomova, Igor Mirkurbanov, Pavel Chinarev, Anna Snatkina, Grigory Kalinin, Konstantin Yushkevich, Natalya Rogozhkina, Yana Koshkina, Vyacheslav Chepurchenko, Angelina Strechina, Sergey Goroshko, Anton Rogachev, Kristina Alexandrova, Kirill Vlasov will star in the series and other actors. The creative producer of the project is Anton Morozenko, who worked on Kholop and Univer.
Filming of the dramedy “Sex. Before and after” will be held in Moscow and will last until the end of March. An exclusive premiere in the Okko online cinema is scheduled for 2023.
