Supernatural teen drama ‘Teen Wolf’ is back as a movie on Paramount+. The plot reveals what happened to the characters, 15 years after the events of the sixth and final season of the series.
The new streamer reunites the original “Teen Wolf” cast, in addition to introducing new members of the franchise.
In “Teen Wolf: The Movie,” the McCall pack, led by Scott (Tyler Posey), returns to Beacon Hills to unravel the mystery of Allison Argent’s (Crystal Reed) reincarnation and confront a new evil that has arisen.
With the return of the pack and the presence of new members, the film leaves a lot of doubt in the air and a lot of things ready to continue the story of the characters. Here we explain the ending of ‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’.

‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’ ending explained: what happened to each character?
At the end of the film it is discovered that Alison’s resurrection was a plan by Nogitsune (Aaron Hendry) to kill Scott and feed on the pain caused by the death of his beloved.
With the help of the pack, Scott manages to defeat the villain and stay with Alison. It’s not all good news though, as victory costs Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) his life.
In the plot, Derek is now the father of Eli Hale (Vince Mattis), a 15-year-old teenager who is having trouble adjusting to being a werewolf and doesn’t have the best relationship with his father.
With Derek’s sacrifice to save the day, Scott returns to Los Angeles to honor his friend’s memory and mentor Eli Hale, teaching him everything he needs to know to be a werewolf.
On the other hand, although Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O’Brien) does not appear in the film, Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) does, who has several prescient dreams that could be explored in the future.
“Teen Wolf: The Movie”: who is Eli Hale’s mother?
One of the biggest doubts left by the end of ‘Teen Wolf: The Movie’ is the identity of Eli’s mother, since Derek is shown as a single father and the mother’s name is never mentioned.
In an interview with ‘TVLine’ on January 26, 2023, the creator of the saga, Jeff Davis, talked about this topic and other mysteries left by the new Paramount + movie.
As for Eli’s mother, he said that they intentionally didn’t explain that information, since it’s a story he wants to explore in the future, either in an Eli-centric spin-off or in another movie.
However, that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting to solve the mystery and have connected the stories and characters to figure out who Eli Hale’s mother is.
Some believe it could be Braeden, a character who was with Derek in Season 4 of the original series. However, since this mercenary is an African-American woman, it is unlikely that she is Eli’s mother.
The other person who could be his mother is Jennifer Blake, the assassin known as Darach, who in season three had a tumultuous relationship with Derek.
Although Jennifer Blake dies in the series, Allison’s return in the film allows every character to come back from the dead, so maybe that’s how she returned to Derek and they had a child.
