The same newspaper reported that Dani Alves does not want to receive a visit from his parents, Domingos da Silva and Dona Lúcia. The player has telephone conversations with her mother, but would be ashamed to be seen by her in prison conditions.

Daniel Alves has been detained in Spain since 20 January. The player allegedly sexually assaulted a 23-year-old woman at a party on December 30 last year. The Spanish court ordered the athlete’s arrest after hearing the Brazilian’s contradictory statements. According to the Spanish press, the former Barcelona player claimed to have engaged in consensual sex with the woman in the latest version of his report.

Daniel Alves was initially held at Brians 1 Penitentiary but was transferred to Brians 2 Penitentiary three days after his arrest. The prison is located in the municipality of Sant Esteve Sesrovires, 40 km from Barcelona.
