The Party associated the invasion with “systematic attacks on the Lula campaign”; the site had already been re-established late this Sunday morning
The PT website was the target of a hacker attack in the early hours of this Sunday 29. Those responsible for the invasion have changed the home page, replacing the information of the party with a photo of the former porn actor Clóvis Basílio dos Santos, known as “Kid Bengal”. Additionally, there were a number of messages criticizing the acronym and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. “What’s up, PT! How are you, do you steal a lot there?” read the text.
The hackers identified themselves with the codenames “m4conha”, “bengalinha”, “bengalão” and “king1njury”. They also posted a link to a pornography site and wrote that the former porn actor “would make a better president!”, along with the hashtag #ForaLula.
In a note, the party specified that the attack was superficial, without prejudice to the site’s data. “There has been no appropriation or loss of any information (…) The site’s data is and is protected, according to the required security standards”, read the caption of this Sunday afternoon.
The site had already been re-established late this Sunday morning.
The party also associated the invasion with “systematic attacks” during Lula’s presidential campaign. “It is the reaction to the reach, the commitment and the role played by the site and by the set of integrated communication tools of the PT”, adds the note.
