Adam DiMarco from ‘The White Lotus’ could be Henry Cavill’s replacement to play Superman

Ever since James Gunn decided to do without Henry Cavill as Superman, fans of the caped superhero have wondered who would be his replacement. Many names have sounded, and now the youtuber Grace Randolph says that the star of The White Lotus, Adam DiMarco will be the new Superman.

After giving various reasons as to why he would make a good Superman, he instead speculated on who would make a good Clark Kent. Since the “secret identity” is a crucial part of Superman’s character, it’s important to cast someone who could be a shy and polite reporter.

Granted, Adam DiMarco has fewer muscles than Cavill, but like the Spiderman character, Superman’s muscles are more important in the comics than in the movies. And even if you think DiMarco doesn’t have the muscles for the part, a good fitness and nutrition preparation before training would leave him packing on several pounds of muscle.

Another reason Randolph felt that Adam DiMarco would make a good Superman is that he could be a good foil to Robert Pattinson’s Batman, who also didn’t seem to fit the role when his name was announced.

One thing that may or may not work in Adam DiMarco’s favor when it comes to casting Superman is that he’s not too well known in Hollywood and that always raises interest.
