The option became available this month to access the fale I know
Citizens who need to request information at Central bank (BC) or filing complaints about banks may use the company name. Since last Monday 23rd the agency has been offering the option of the Fale Conosco service. The only requirement is that the company name is included in the database IRS.
The corporate name option has existed since October last year for Registered, a service that provides a citizen’s history with financial institutions. The BC telephone service channel is also adapted, with the operator asking the citizen if he prefers to be called by his company or civil name.
According to BC’s Department of Institutional Assistance, the use of the corporate name is possible because the agency has an agreement with the Federal Revenue Service to access the tax authorities’ database and prove the user’s identity. When informing the Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF) or logging in with the CPF in the Gov.br account, the BC crosses the data. In case of telephone contact, the system informs the operator of the existence of the company name. If the registration takes place via the internet, the treatment card appears on the screen.
In addition to the way to address the citizen, the system allows BC to enter the company name in official documents, such as the reports issued by the Registry. In this case, the user’s social name will appear prominently, accompanied by her civil name.
According to BC, the recognition of the company name in the federal administration is required by the decree 8727, issued in April 2016. However, public entities are still complying.
The BC clarifies that the option to use the corporate name is not yet offered in Ombudsman or Access to Information Act requests because these services depend on the Fala.BR platform, developed by Federal Comptroller General (CGU)which still does not allow the applicants to enter the company name. / BRAZIL AGENCY
