Streaming service Netflix has released the first trailer for the new film “We Have a Ghost!” (in the original – “We Have a Ghost”). The horror comedy starred White Lotus and American Pie star Jennifer Coolidge and actor David Harbour, best known for playing Sheriff Jim Hopper on Stranger Things. The film will be released on the platform on February 24th.
The tape begins, like any horror film, with the fact that the family moves into the house and tries to start a new life. However, it turns out that a ghost named Ernest lives there. Everyone is afraid of him, except for the son of the main characters – Kevin. The boy wants to make friends with the otherworldly force and find out where Ernest came from. The boy, along with the ghost, uploads the video to social networks in order to earn money. However, the young businessman’s plans are hindered by a medium and a CIA agent. They want to get rid of the ghost.
The medium was played by Coolidge, and Harbor played the role of Ernest. The film’s cast also includes Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Tig Notaro, Anthony Mackie, Erica Ash, Faith Ford, Neil Fitch, and Steve Coulter. The screenplay was written by Christopher Landon. The plot is based on a short story by Geoff Mano published in 2017 in Vice. Landon also directed the film adaptation.
Also, Jennifer Coolidge, along with Josh Duhamel and Jennifer Lopez, starred in the movie “My Pirate Wedding”. The comedy premiered on January 18 at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theater. The comedy My Pirate Wedding premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime on January 27th.
