According to “Stranger Things” star Noah Schnapp, filming on the show’s fifth season will begin in May. However, he hasn’t said a date for the premiere on Netflix.
In an Instagram Live, the actor answered a fan’s question about whether the school was interfering with filming. Schnapp said no, as he finishes classes in May, which coincides with the start of production.
The fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’ will be the last, but its synopsis is still under wraps. Expectations for the release of the episodes on Netflix revolve around the beginning of 2024, since it is certain that filming will only start in the middle of this year.

However, the series finale will tie into season 2, which was previously confirmed. “The success of season one blew our minds, so we knew we had to make this world bigger, and that’s what’s going to happen,” co-creator Ross Duffer revealed.
“But it was too much – [cinco vezes] more ideas than we needed, or [dez vezes]. For season 5, we’re taking a lot of these big ideas from season 2… A lot of our big endings were taken from things that we thought were going to be in season 2.”
