Actor Rami Malek, best known for Bohemian Rhapsody and No Time to Die, is set to try his hand at directing. About his debut became known from the material of the French magazine Madame Figaro. The actor recently starred in a Cartier commercial, so the first thing the interviewer asked him about was working with the brand. Malek then spoke about his career.

According to Rami, the shooting of the new film will take place exclusively at night. The action of the project will cover just one evening in Los Angeles, Malek’s hometown. The artist did not disclose additional details, but admitted that he would also be the author of the script. The film will be based on the author’s podcast of the actor called “Blackout”.

I would like to shoot in places that are not shown in the movies. But at the same time, I don’t want to reveal my favorite places. Paul Thomas Anderson and I both grew up there and fight a lot. I tell him: “It’s you who shows all our secret places in the cinema, and then we can’t go back there!”, – he said.

According to Malek, he is halfway through the implementation of his project. In addition, Malek will produce an action movie in the spirit of The Fugitive or The Bourne Identity. Filming will begin in March 2023 in Paris. The actor described the work on this project as a dream.
