Wall Street opens lower ahead of Fed decision

Wall Street stock indexes opened lower Wednesday as investors cautiously await the Federal Reserve’s next interest rate decision, while chip maker Advanced Micro Devices rose after the release of a bullish outlook.

The Dow fell 0.14% to open at 34,039.60 points.

The S&P 500 opened down 0.16% to 4,070.07 points, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.10% to 11,573.14 points at the open.
