Tom Hanks will rejuvenate with AI in his new film with Robert Zemeckis

Tom Hanks and Robin Wright will be rejuvenated through Artificial Intelligence in their next film together, ‘Here’in what will be the first collaboration between the two and the director robert zemeckis from ‘Forrest Gump’.

The tool in charge of this technology will be Metaphysical AIan Artificial Intelligence program run by Tom Graham who is responsible, among other things, for the viral account @DeepTomCruise, where we can see different Deep Fakes with the face of the protagonist of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. The company claims that its new Metaphysic Live tool can be used to create “High-resolution photorealistic face swaps and live actor aging effects in real timewithout the need for more compositing or visual effects work.”

As reported THR, Metaphysic Live will be used “extensively” in Zemeckis’ film to generate facial replacements and rejuvenation. “I have always been drawn to technology that helps me tell a story. With ‘Here’, the movie just wouldn’t work without our actors seamlessly transforming into younger versions of themselves. Metaphysic’s artificial intelligence tools do exactly that, in ways that were previously impossible,” Zemeckis said in a statement.

‘Here’ will be a adaptation of the graphic novel by Richard McGuire (translated in Spain as ‘Here’), which follows a single corner of a room for hundreds of years and the people who pass through it. In addition to Hanks and Wright, the film will star paul bettany (‘Vision Quest’) and kelly reillyand will be released throughout 2024.
