Before Adil & Bilall, also known as Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, were at the center of the bad girl storm of cancellations (and before being kicked out of the park with his Mrs. Wonder episodes), the filmmakers stood up bad boys for life – the belated sequel to Michael Bay’s buddy cop adventures that put them on the action map and received rave reviews. And while they’re probably still reeling from the fact that their DC film was unceremoniously scrapped after filming (and recently received damning feedback from the DC rank and file), they’re bouncing back, not just with their upcoming film. Rebelbut with the news that they will officially be in charge bad boys 4with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence also on board.
Bedroom bad guys (“Bad Boys 4 Life”?) is officially in pre-production at Sony, with Adil and Bilall working from a script by Chris Bremner, who also wrote For the life and last year the toronto man. Smith shared a video (warning: it’s pretty loud) on her Instagram account of her meeting Lawrence to confirm their return together:
