Alicia Silverstone made her big screen debut in the movie ‘Clueless’ and it was later made into a series about the life of Cher Horowitz, although it did not have the same success or recognition as the original film.
Since then, Alicia Silverstone has had a great career in Hollywood, with roles in “Blast from the Past” with Brendan Fraser, “Batman and Robin” (where her costume almost includes the famous “bat-nipples”), “Beauty Shop”, among others.
However, so far her role as Cher in ‘Clueless’ is what most people remember her for and 28 years later the actress surprised her fans by transforming back into the popular and happy girl.

In the 1995 film Cher decides to dress up in a yellow plaid outfit, kind of like a school uniform but fashionable. Her choice was crowned with success, with many copying her outfit for years at Halloween or parties.
Now in 2023 Alicia Silverstone, his actress ‘Alex Rider: Stormbreaker’ (which you can watch for free on ViX)at 46 she’s playing Cher again, though not for a sequel or reboot.
Her return to the character of Cher occurs in a commercial for Japanese technology brand Rakuten, which will air during halftime of Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023.
In a sneak preview shared by the actress on her TikTok account and a teaser from the company, it looks like the years haven’t passed on Cher as she looks identical to when she was 15.

This new appearance of Cher takes place in her classroom in the film and in front of the podium, as she did in many scenes in 1995. Plus, it features the original soundtrack song ‘Alright’ by Supergrass.
In a video for Vogue in September 2020, the actress revealed that Cher’s iconic wardrobe in the film was designed by costume designer Mona May and was made as a nod to a school uniform, but very “elegant”.
The full 30-second ad will air on February 12, and Silverstone told Variety on February 1 that she agreed to do it because it would make sense for Cher to use the banking app.
Based on Jane Austen’s novel ‘Emma’, ‘Clueless’ was directed by Amy Heckerling and features Cher navigating family life, school, popularity and the idea of love, but with no idea how to go about it.
