The fifth installment of the iconic franchise will see Ford alongside an ensemble cast that includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen .
This new trailer for the fifth Indiana Jones has a strong nostalgic tone, with strong elements from the previous films and an older Harrison Ford. The main character’s theme song, hat, and whip provide this tone.
The adventure will take place in the 60s during the space race and the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Unlike the previous films, George Lucas did not write the story of the fifth film, nor is Steven Spielberg the director.
The film will be directed by James Mangold, who also writes the screenplay, produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel and executive produced by the gigantic Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Something notable about the trailer below is the soundtrack (including the iconic theme song), which will once again have John Williams at the helm, a musician who has scored every Indy adventure since the original.
