Universal Pictures and Dreamworks studios can celebrate another record in Brazil. “Puss in Boots 2: The Last Order” has topped the Dreamworks movies in just over a month in theaters nationwide.
Dubbed into Portuguese, the film features the following cast: Alexandre Moreno, the official voice actor for Puss in Boots from the first film; Miriam Ficher, who voices Kitty Pata Mansa; Marcos Veras as the dog Perrito; Giovanna Ewbank voicing Goldilocks and Sérgio Malheiros as Baby Bear.
The long-awaited sequel to the 2011 Academy Award-nominated blockbuster is directed by Joel Crawford and produced by Mark Swift.
Puss in Boots first appeared in the 2004 Academy Award nominated film ‘Shrek 2’ and stole the show, becoming a global sensation. He starred in the next two “Shrek” sequels and his own solo film, as well as DreamWorks Animation videos and TV series. The films “Shrek” and “Puss in Boots” have grossed more than $3.5 billion worldwide.
