The protagonist of ‘The Last of Us’, Bella Ramsey, has spoken about Ellie’s lesbian relationship in the second season of the HBO Max series.
Anyone who has played the video game saga on which the action series is based will know that Ellie begins a close relationship with a character viewers haven’t yet met: Dina.
The romance between the young survivors of the zombie apocalypse has gone down in history as one of the most emblematic relationships in fiction queer of the last decadesso fans are very excited to see it on television.
During a recent appearance on the podcast Happy Sad ConfusedBella talked about how interesting it will be to bring Ellie and Dina’s love story to life.
“I’m very excited, to be honest, for the Ellie/Dina story.Bella said.
“I’ve seen a video of them together. Someone has made an incredible montage of Ellie and Dina’s love story. So I’m looking forward to digging into that“.
Although we will not reveal spoilers what happens in games Bella also hinted at how Dina’s arrival will completely change things between Ellie and Joel.played by Pedro Pascal.
“[Me emociona] the complexity of her relationship with Joel and how this deepens it. I’m looking forward to it,” Bella said.
“The violence it provokes is exciting, in a way. Exploring that in a safe environment will be great. But it also makes me nervous.”
The good news is that fans will be able to see how this all plays out, as HBO has given the green light to a second season after the enormous success of the series.
The first season of ‘The Last of Us’ is available on streaming on HBO Max.
