The poster is a weathered map of the US with two lines marking Joel’s trip to Boston and his way with Ellie.. Four markers are placed on the map to show four key locations visited throughout the series. Joel’s line starts at Austin (Texas) where, in episode 1×01 of ‘The Last of Us’, we meet him along with his daughter Sarah and his brother Tommy in the hours before the outbreak begins, and we see them face chaos once the infection begins to develop. fungus.
