‘Ant-Man 3’ Producer Explains Why Kang Is An Even Bigger Threat Than Thanos

Stephen Broussard increases the hype for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ by explaining why Kang the Conqueror is the most powerful villain in Marvel’s MCU.

The first reactions to ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ are as enthusiastic as ever when Marvel debuts a new UCM movie, and the main praise goes to Jonathan Majors, in charge of giving life to the villain of the film Kang the Conqueror.

Majors debuted the complicated character at the end of ‘Loki’ season 1, presenting himself as a more adult and seasoned version of the super-villain, and now in ‘Ant-Man 3’ he “returns” (with Kang you never know if he’s coming or going) to the UCM to reaffirm himself as the main threat of the so-called “Multiverse Saga” which will culminate with ‘Avengers: Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.

The comparisons with Thanos, the enemy of the first three Phases (the ‘Infinity Saga’)Therefore, they are irremediable. The movie producer Stephen Broussard has taken it upon himself to clarify the differences between the two characters and to affirm that Kang the Conqueror is a much more dangerous threat than Thanos for Marvel’s MCU:

“I think what makes Kang so dangerous is that we really are caught in a war of gods. [Las distintas variantes de Kang] They are clearly in this elevated state. They have cracked the code of the Multiverse, as ‘He who remains’ explains to us, and they form this uncomfortable alliance. But it doesn’t work out, that’s why they banish him [a Kang el Conquistador] here.”

As for his differences with Thanos, Broussard states, “There was a uniqueness to Thanos that was terrifying. But the Kangs don’t even agree with each otherand that is something that gives us food for thought. The unpredictable nature of it feels like he’s a much scarier threat than Thanos..”

And the Multiverse, as it had been announced in the latest Marvel series and movies, will be very important in this fight: “Humanity, as they say, is beginning to scratch the door of the Multiverse“continues Broussard. “We have been protected. We’ve been somewhat isolated in what I call our terrarium, which is the analogy we used in ‘Loki’ season 1. That door is broken down, which is what we see in the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. And there is a chaos that is reproduced in that; a chaos of possibilities and a chaos of different things colliding with each other“.

‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ will be released in theaters throughout Spain next friday february 17 and introduce us to another new villain, MODOK. Do you know who it is?
