Slash says ‘almost everything Guns N’ Roses did would be canceled these days’

To promote new book, Slash revealed that he preferred to discard some ‘scandalous’ Guns N’ Roses stories

Guitarist of one of the most important rock bands, slash opined how “almost everything that Armas e Rosas did would be cancelled, especially during the period in which the group was formed, in the mid-1980s.

During an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment to talk about the new book, entitled The Collection: Slashthe musician commented on his decision to leave some more daring stories and anecdotes out of the work, because it would generate controversy, since some of his and bandmates’ behaviors would not “do well” today.

But now that you mention it, almost everything that [Guns N’ Roses] did would have canceled us these days.

“We wouldn’t have done well in that environment [digital]absolutely – I mean, on so many different levels,” continued slash. “Many things from that time would not be what you would consider acceptable now.”

“I’m glad we didn’t have the internet back then! It would have been a completely different world. But anyway, I don’t dwell on all that stuff. It just is what it is,” finished the musician. Watch the full interview below:
