After the release of psychedelic heartsnext to the duo Anne Victoriain the past month, the classic MPB band, New clothescontinues its celebrations of 40 years with old shoe, made available last Friday (17). The single, available now on all digital platforms via ONErpm, is a re-recording of the 1981 hit.
“Sapato Velho could not be left out of this 40-year project, as it represents such an important section of the band’s legacy. Claiming this song is “where we become one voice”said the vocalist Nandowho hopes fans of the group will enjoy this re-recording.
“Sapato Velho is always a nice surprise for us at shows, it’s where we gather everyone’s vocal range and transform it into one voice”relationships Nando on live performances.
