Billie Eilish sues Raymond Black after ‘threat of violence’
Billie Eilish had a restraining order secured against a man who tried to break into his home shirtless. As reported by TMZ (via NME), Raymond Black must be at least 100 yards (91.44 meters) from the singer’s property.
The decision was justified by “threat of violence and stalking.” Black was inside the grounds of the house of Eilishtaking off clothes to use the outdoor shower, when he was arrested. Eilish he only realized the presence of the stalker after about six hours, when he turned on the deck light.
The restraining order applies to the home of Billiewhich is also located in Los Angeles, in the United States.
This is not the first request for a restraining order involving the singer. In January, Eilish had the house where he grew up invaded by a “fan.”
“My father and members of the Los Angeles Police Department informed me that an individual who goes by the name of Christopher or Chris Andersonentered my family’s home on January 5, 2023, unannounced and uninvited, after apparently professing his love for me and expressing that he really wanted to meet me.”
Chris Andersonaccording to the news agency PA (via Evening Standard), is 39 years old and was at the family home of Billie on several occasions between late December and early January of this year. And it was with that in mind that the singer decided to file a restraining order.
