Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker Fractured Hip, Undergoes Surgery, But Comes to Lollapalooza

Less than a month away from Lollapalooza, Kevin Parker published photos of the injury and reassured the public

Kevin Parkermusician behind the tame Impalarevealed a severe hip fracture less than a month before Lollapalooza, festival in which he is scheduled as one of the main attractions. Reassuring the fans, kevin announced that tours in Mexico and South America will proceed as planned.

On his Instagram account, he posted pictures of his leg and scans taken before and after the operation. Metal pins were included during the procedure. Second parkerthe preexisting wear in the region was aggravated while he ran a half marathon, culminating in the fracture less than 1km from the finish line.

Other videos show the recovery of kevin, who can now stand up and climb stairs with help. He did not reveal when the fracture occurred. The band will perform in Mexico this Friday, the 10th.

“All shows in Mexico and South America are on. I won’t let you down,” wrote the musician. tame Impala plays on all South American editions of Lollapalooza (Brazil, Argentina and Chile), as well as festivals in Colombia and Paraguay.
