Author of the video ‘Coldplay – Por que Odeio’, Regis Tadeu listened to the singer’s discussions in the Morumbi’s dressing room
Chris Martinsinger of Coldplayinvited the reporter Regis Tadeu to attend a concert of the band in São Paulo. Reason: The singer discovered a video of Tadeu entitled Coldplay-Why I hate it, in which he called the presentation “a wave of fluffy silliness”.
The match took place in a dressing room set up at the stadium Morumbi. There, Tadeu was questioned by Martin about the reason for the snub. “When I say I hate a band, it’s because I really hate it”, justified the journalist who, in a video on the subject, guaranteed not to fear the meeting, despite having no idea what the situation would be like.
According to the website metropolisMartin reportedly replied, “I don’t mind, so we’ve given you a dressing room to relax in. You don’t even have to watch the show.” The singer also commented that, like Tadeu, he was also a fan of the German band Ramstein.
Though he didn’t want further details on the journalist’s disdain for the band, Martin said he was happy to meet someone with such a strong opinion. “I’m also happy with the freedom of expression.”
The appointment ended peacefully, with the two exchanging compliments.
