Philip Ret performed on the Adidas stage Lollapalooza Brazil 2023 in the afternoon of this Saturday 25. With colorful clothes and the accompaniment of a drummer and a keyboardist, he sang with the microphone full of effects, such as Crazy to Go Back, Illusion, I’m Not That Good, In My Favor, Konteiner, Good vibe, Cub Viz 2, and the new released God forgives.

At one point, he asked the audience to raise their hand, indicating from what date they could follow his career, from his debut album, On a distant shore (2009) to the most recent, LIGHT (2022).
Before taking the stage, Filipe Ret gave an interview to Canal Bis, in which he said that he was among the artists whose show at the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. He ended up missing the return of Lollapalooza in 2022.

“I’m fulfilling a dream here. A lot has happened, meanwhile I’ve released two albums [Imaterial e LUME]. It was a very small participation, I think about three songs. It is now an hour long show. We have to cut some songs in half, people get mad, but it happens…”, she commented.
In July 2022, Filipe Ret also attracted attention when he was embroiled in controversy over allegedly offering “open weed”, i.e. distributing the drug to guests, at a party, which led to a police investigation.
