In a podcast, the singer, who performed in Brazil on the 24th, commented on her inability to respond to affection from fans
Billie Eilish revealed that she has a hard time processing fans’ love for her. The singer, who toured Brazil as the headliner of Lollapalooza last Friday (24), she was the guest of the podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friendwhere he reflected on mental health and the challenge of measuring fan affection:
“I’ve been talking about this for a while now, about fans and love, you can’t really process that kind of love, specifically from fans and people in the world who don’t really know you and who you don’t know intimately. It’s a kind of attention. that a person can’t really process.”
The singer even reflected on becoming an idol for other people, a change of perspective that she still wouldn’t have fully understood:
“It’s really interesting, because I was a fan of a lot of people who inspired me in my childhood, I was the fan who loved artists so much, and to become that, to change sides – it’s devastating. I can’t quite take the love that artists give me. fans give it to me, and it’s the same when you meet the people who inspire you, if they give you that love, you can’t even process it.”

Billie Eilish speaks to Brazilian fans
Last Sunday (26), Billie Eilish explained in an interview with Fantasticas he wrote the song “Billie Bossa Nova”. The singer gave an exclusive interview to the Rede Globo.
“I love Bossa Nova and I’ve always had a deep love and connection with it. As soon as I hear a song playing and I feel like it’s bossa nova, I’m like ‘what is this? It’s so good.'”
The singer performed on Friday night, the 24th, at the Lollapalooza Brazil and declared love to the country. At Fantástico, Billie answered questions from fans.
“It’s crazy to me. This is the only place I’ve ever wanted to go that I really like… You know, my first “Billie Eilish fan” account was “Billie Eilish Brazil.”
“I’ve always had a soft spot for this place and I’ve never been there, and I’ve been saying to my team for years, ‘When can I go to Brazil? When can I go there? Because they want me to go there. ‘ And we had to wait until the moment was right and here we are. I’m so excited.”
