The Calling concerts in Brazil would take place in May
The Calling had to postpone presentations that he would make in Brazil again. The concerts of the album’s extensive 20th anniversary tour Camino Palmero would take place in São Luís, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Santos.
“I can’t believe I have to break this news, but the South America tour will need to be postponed yet again. I’m sorry to all the people who have already planned, even for the old dates in December.” alex bandlead singer of the band, said in a video posted on Instagram.
“I feel terrible, but I want to explain what’s going on. Last year, before we started the US tour – which also went wrong because I needed to find a new band – I couldn’t go to South America because I couldn’t renew my passport ,” he explained.
Still according to the musician, he had the request denied again, although he has already gone through the process several times. Alex criticized the North American system for issuing the document and warned that the new forecast to achieve the renewal is June.
He promised that the tour will happen and praised the production of the shows. Tickets for solo dates must be refunded. New dates have not yet been confirmed.
