Adapted to the schedule of a K-pop idol, Suga says he doesn’t feel tired
Sucksof BTS, revealed about his quality of life since becoming a K-pop star. According to the member of the largest group of its kind, he has not been able to sleep more than three hours for at least five years.
Commercial commitments, travel, concerts, recordings and other work tasks with BTS disrupt everyone’s sleep routine, according to a statement by Sucks in an interview with the YouTube channel Ddeun Ddeun (via NME).
“I think maybe I’m the only one here who has managed to get used to schedules for singers,” he stated. “Everyone is so busy. Sometimes we lie on the carpet. We suffer from jet leg when we go to another country.”
He explained, however, that the recommended eight hours of sleep deprivation doesn’t affect him as much: “I’ve never slept more than three hours in the last five or six years. I wake up after sleeping for two hours, but I don’t feel tired because I got used to it.”
Jiminalso from BTS, was present at the interview and laughed when he heard his friend’s statement. When asked about the laughter, he explained: “It’s because I sleep well.”
