The disc and feature film titled “Shadow Kingdom” are being prepared for release in June
the american singer Bob Dylan will release a new album on June 2, as well as a feature film on the 6th of the same month, both from the show kingdom of shadowsmade two years ago.
The new work by the 81-year-old artist, embroiled in a controversy last year over the sale of special editions of his latest book, The philosophy of modern songwith his signature machine-forged, it includes songs that can be downloaded online and purchased on double vinyl or CD.
The winner of Nobel Prize for Literature 2016 interprets in this album versions of old songs such as Queen Jane Approx, The evil messenger, Forever Young AND It’s all over now.
In the project, Dylan is accompanied by the guitarist meek, bassist Janie Cowan and Shahzad Ismaily on accordion. Shadow Kingdom was originally advertised as a movie event to watch online and was streamed live on June 13, 2021.
The release of the new album and the feature film coincides with a world tour that began in 2021 and will end in 2024, entitled Rough and rowdy ways.
