The first edition of the megafestival conceived by Roberto Medina, the name behind the already traditional Rock in Rio, The Town, will be held on 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10 September, at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo. Many attractions have already been confirmed and this Friday, the 14th, two new names are added to the list of shows. The organization has revealed two new highlights, which are singer and multi-instrumentalist Masego, on the 7th, and Gloria Groove, on the 10th.
Born in Jamaica but residing in the United States, Masego is 29 years old and is considered one of the exponents of R&B and jazz. He has roots that influenced him in music, a Jamaican-American mother, is a singer-songwriter and has directed the church choir in Virginia. The guy, in addition to all dedication to music, also built an animation studio, from which pictures of him in his presentation at Coachella were shown.
Gloria Groove, 28, is sure to bring her vibrant and charismatic energy to the stage at The Town. This drag queen who has conquered Brazil, delighting the audience where she performs, should bring to this show songs that made her famous, but also works of her most recent work by her, Lady Leste, such as Bonekinha, Vermelho and In Queda.

According to information from the organization, the official ticket sale for The Town will start on April 18, from 19:00, only on the Ticketmaster website. The ticket price is 815 BRL for the full ticket and 407.50 BRL for the half ticket and there are no additional costs. You can buy up to 4 (four) tickets per day of the festival for CPF, with a maximum of 1 half price per day, for CPF.
Customers who purchase half-price tickets will have to enter all the information relating to the document proving this condition on the site, for subsequent validation, as well as presenting it when accessing Cidade da Música, on the day of the event. Payment can be made by credit card. For payment by credit card, the amount can be paid in a maximum of 6 (six) interest-free installments. Customers who pay with Itaú, Credicard or Iti credit cards can pay up to 8 (eight) interest-free installments.
Those who have purchased The Town Card can also choose the date on which they want to go to the festival. All those who have purchased the ticket will have until April 17, at 7 pm, to choose the day. After this period, the right to choose is subject to the availability of tickets for the date the person wants to go. The process is carried out on the Ticketmaster website, in the “My Orders” section. By clicking on the purchase of the Card, the user will already see the dates to select. Those who have more than one The Town Card must choose the day for each one separately.

The City, according to the organization’s forecasts, should welcome around 500,000 people and will offer more than 235 hours of music, in the shows scheduled on its stages – Skyline Stage, The One Stage, New Dance Order Stage, Factory Stage, São Paulo Square.
