EFE – With the help of a Artificial Intelligence (AI)the British indie band breeze had success with an album in which he recreates what the band would sound like today Oasiswhich triumphed in the 90s.

“We were bored waiting for the return of Oasis”, explained the group presenting the album AISIS (play on words between “AI”, Artificial Intelligence, in English, and the name of Liam Gallagher’s ex-band).

His boredom peaked in 2021, during one of the lockdowns enacted during the coronavirus pandemic, when members of the breeze he took the opportunity to compose eight new songs inspired by the sound of Oasis.

Next, they used an AI model to simulate the voice of Gallagher for inclusion on the original tracks. The result was not only well received by critics and the public, but also gained some support from the British singer himself. Gallagher, 50, said inside Twitter that he hasn’t listened to the entire album, but has heard one song, which he thinks is “better than all the other stuff out there”.

The newspaper The Guardian describes the eight tracks of AISIS as “virtually indistinguishable” from an actual album by Oasis“with really catchy melodies”, and goes so far as to frame their sound in the period between the Manchester band’s original third album, Be here now (1997) and the fourth, Standing on the shoulder of giants (2000).
