Carlise Guy and Brazilian guitarist Arthur Menezes will be the attractions of the festival to be held from 2 to 4 June at Ibirapuera Park
They are confirmed for June 2, 3 and 4 as attractions for the 10th edition of the The best of Blues and Rock Festivalthe american band The Nu Blue Band and guitarist Artur Menezes. The festival, which will also see the participation of the guitarist Friendit will be in the external stalls of the Ibirapuera Auditorium, in Sao Paulo.
Carlise Guy, who began her career singing in churches in Chicago where she was born, is Buddy’s daughter. The Nu Blu Band is completed by drummer Dan Henley and guitarist Mark Maddox. They will perform on Saturday 3, with a repertoire centered around blues, R&B, pop and mototown record label.
Artur Menezes will be one of the attractions of the 3. In 2018 he performed at the same festival together with Joe Satriani. The young Arthur, with five albums and one EP released, was chosen among the 25 best new blues guitarists by the American magazine Guitar Player.
Festival tickets start at R$450, with installments of up to 10x through the Eventim website or at the Morumbi Stadium box office (at the latter, no convenience fee).
