Electronic music has stolen the spotlight in recent decades for its soulful beats, forcing even the music genre’s worst skeptics to swing their heads and feet to its beats. In alok THE period cultureentrepreneur and content creator Thales Ragone has invested in successful partnerships.
“I’ve already hired pretty much everyone in electronic music: Vintage Culture (3x), Alok, Illusionize, Chemical Surf, Cat Dealers, Dashdot, Dubdogz, among many others, and I have photos of most of them,” he says, recalling the year extraordinary of 2010: “It was then that iconic artists including Deadmau5, Tiesto and David Guetta began to emerge from the shadows, heralding a new era.”
The genre of electronic music encompasses more than the stereotypical heart-pounding “noise”. According to Thales Ragone, rhythm has subgenres. “They include chillstep, with the goal of creating smooth, slow rhythms; acid house, typically considered energetic rave music; and techno, which encompasses more experimental and high-octane electrifying sounds,” he concludes.
Of extraordinary moments in his career, Thales Ragone recalls 2017, when he spoke at the Rio Music Conference. “I was next to the owner of the Green Valley group and the Silk Beach Club group,” he said. According to the influencer, the key to success is planning, organization and execution. “I’m a good leader wherever I go, in my club, at my parties, in my agency and when I travel. A few hours of sleep and a lot of work is the secret”.
