Jeremy Allen White takes over vocals on classics like ‘I’m On Fire’ and ‘Atlantic City’ in the biopic about the creation of the album Nebraska
The long-awaited new film Scott Cooper (All for Justice), Springsteen: Save Me From the Unknownhas now hit theaters and, as expected in a musical biopic, the soundtrack is a character in itself. Known for his intense dramas, Cooper delivers a powerful musical selection that delves into the universe and mind of xxxx.
The film, starring Jeremy Allen White (as Bruce Springsteen), Jeremy Strong and Paul Walter Hauserhas the original soundtrack signed by Jeremiah Fraitesco-founder of the band The Lumineers. The partnership guarantees the melancholic atmosphere of the production. But beyond Fraites’ original composition, the heart of the film are the recreations of classics by Springsteeninterpreted by himself Jeremy Allen Whitewho sings tracks like “I’m On Fire” and “Atlantic City”.
The selection also explores other influences of the time, including “needle drops” by artists such as Santana, Foreigner and the soul legend Sam Cookeshowing Cooper’s ability to create a sound mosaic that dialogues with the narrative. Inspired by the book Warren Zanesthe film chronicles the personal and professional struggles of Springsteen during the creation of his darkest album, Nebraskain 1982.
