Best of Blues and Rock announces Malvada and Nanda Moura

Festival is the main national event of both genres and opens space for two new Brazilian names

As the festival date approaches, new names join the lineup. The Best of Blues and Rock will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June in São Paulo at Auditorio Ibirapuera for its 10th anniversary edition.

Nanda Moura is a blues singer and guitarist. The Brazilian is a reference in great renowned blues artists such as Blind Willie Johnson, Son House, Robert Johnson. Nanda is accompanied by Otávio Rocha (guitar), César Lago (bass) and Gil Eduardo (drums), musicians from Blues Etilicos, one of the most famous bands in the country.

Evil formed in March 2020, is an all-female ethnic rock band. With vocalist Angel Sberse, guitarist Bruna Tsuruda, bassist Marina Langer and drummer Juliana Salgado. The band bets on rock and roll sung in Portuguese and had its first album released in 2021.

The lineup for the three days for now includes Tom Morello, Extreme, Malvada and Nanda Moura on Friday (2nd), Buddy Guy, Steve Vai and Dead Fish on Saturday (3rd); and on Sunday (4), a new performance by Tom Morello, plus Buddy Guy, Goo Goo Dolls, Ira! and Day Limns. Tickets are already on sale online by Eventim and physical sales at the official Ticket Office SP, tickets cost from R$ 450.
