Reges Cake, band lead singer the outbreak, died yesterday, 24, at the age of 52. The band became known mainly for the hit “The Wax” during the 2000s, which took the group to the 2001 edition of Rock in Rio at the World Stage.
However, despite being one of the best known, “The Wax (Pirou o Cabeção)” it’s not the band’s only song. At the Spotify, the group’s second most played song is “Everything is possible”, track that is very reminiscent of Brazilian rock from the 200s. Listen below:
In addition to this, the top 5 is composed of “The poison” disc singleEqualizing the Ideas 2005, “Zaroia” and finally “Hempadura” in Everybody’s Crazy (2000). Altogether the band has released only three albums, the last one in 2007 titled Where did we stop anyway?
In 2022, the band was preparing to return to the stage. released the single “Jah” in the same style as their previous songs and with more elements of raggae. Check it out below:
