Oasis’ Definitely Maybe album turns 30 in 2024 and will get a special edition
Noel Gallagher again lowered fans’ expectations for a reunion of the Oasis. The musician denied that he will do shows with his brother, Liam Gallagherin the near future, but confirmed that the disc definitely maybe will receive a special edition.
The album, which features the tracks “slide away” It is “live forever,” turns 30 in 2024 and will have a new version to celebrate the milestone. Unreleased songs, made in the same recording sessions, must accompany the reissue.
“We found some tapes from that era in the Sony archives,” Santa said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera (via NME). “We thought they were lost, but they were just mislabeled. Some are amazing versions of those songs, acoustic.”
“live forever,” “slide away” It is “supersonic” are some of the tracks that should win acoustic versions. However, Gallagher warned: “There won’t be a tour. We won’t be back to play these songs together.”
