Kiss and Twisted Sister members engage in transphobia controversy

Kiss lead singer and guitarist Paul Stanley expressed controversial opinions on Twitter

Paul Stanleyvocalist and guitarist of kissmade controversial statements on Twitter last Monday, 01. The musician criticized gender-affirming surgeries and declared that they are “confusing young children.”

Dee Snidervocalist of Twisted Sistersupported the declaration of Stanley stating, “You know what? There was a period when I ‘felt beautiful’ too. I’m glad my parents didn’t jump to any conclusions.”

Users pointed to the musicians’ supposed transphobia, although Snider has spoken out in favor of drag queens after attacks by the US Republican party.
