Marcelo is Ivete’s eldest son with nutritionist Daniel Cady
Join the podcast “A Thousand and One Bullshit” last Sunday (14), Ivete Sangalo, was in shock after a revelation made by her son. He ended up recalling an occasion involving his eldest heir, Marcellusthe boy’s father Daniel Cady and the couple’s daughters, Navy AND Elena.
Among one of the themes addressed by the artist, he recalls a situation with Marcelo. Ivete said that shortly after the birth of her daughters, Marcelo, who was about 8 years old, called her to speak: “Mother, I wanted to tell you something. I love my father more than you,” said the boy. Mother’s reaction at first was to say she was fine, but then she ran to the phone and broke down in tears with the therapist.
“He was only 8 and a half years old. He went down to the beach with his father. I called my therapist and cried,” explained Sangalo.
“She said: [a terapeuta] ‘don’t let your kid tell you that, no. He might even hear it, but don’t tell you!’” Said the artiste that she went swimming with her son afterward, which hindered the stitches of her pregnancy from healing.
Ivete revealed that he had attracted his son’s attention: “Never tell your mother again. Because I suffered a lot. Never tell your mother again,” he told the boy. “You feel it too. Call your father to share it with you, but, for God’s sake, don’t do this to me again, because I’ve been to hell and back,” he concluded by saying that the episode brought Marcelo back to what he had said.
