Legendary American singer-songwriter Paul SimonIn 81 years oldrevealed in a recent interview with Times What he lost “most” of hearing in the left ear.
“I suddenly lost most of my hearing in my left ear and nobody has an explanation for that. Then it got harder.”said the composer of classics like bridge above Troubled water AND America.
With this hearing problem, Simon has doubts if he will return to perform livealso because it is tired of singing some of your older tunes.
“My songs that I don’t want to sing live, I don’t sing”, scores Simon. “Sometimes there are songs that I like, and at one point on the tour I’m like, ‘What the fuck are you doing, Paul?’ A lot of times that was during (the 1986 song) You Can Call Me Al. I was like, ‘What are you doing? You’re like a Paul Simon cover band. You should get off the street, go home.’
Paul Simon released in early May by Sony Music, Seven Psalmsyour fifteenth solo studio album.
