The panel is 8 meters high and 15 meters long and is located at Avenida Domingo de Moraes, 320, in front of the Vila Mariana metro station.

The work began to be prepared last week by the brothers Paolo and Pedro Terrawith the help of Ge Mouraand was completed this Friday 26. The artists decided to create the art after being encouraged by followers on social networks.

“Since I’ve already paid tribute to her several times, they asked me to make one for her,” Paulo told the Stadium. In July 2022, he and his brother prepared a mural of influencer Jesse Koz and dog Shurastay, a duo who suffered a fatal car accident in the United States.

With the requests began the search for a place to create the panel. Again with the advice of followers, Paulo received help from the owner of a restaurant, who offered the space for Rita’s tribute.

The artists reproduced two classic photos of the singer, one from the 60s and the other from the 90s, and added them to the vibrant and colorful tones that are already traditional in her works.

“We have chosen two impactful images that are very reminiscent of her appearance. We have created a montage and a layout to be able to reproduce her in this space. The result has been very satisfying”, explained the muralist.

“She deserved to be featured on a panel,” said Paulo, who grew up listening to Rita’s songs with his parents. “Especially in the region where she was born and raised. She was an artist who represented Brazilian music.”
