In an unprecedented partnership that unites art, music, technology and social causes, YOHAN (Yohan Tanaka) launched this Monday (5) – World Environment Day -, sales of six NFTs exclusive activities that will have part of the profit destined for the conservation and development of the amazon through collaboration with the Idea (Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon).
Sales are available through market Square Offshore.
To the NFTs the exclusives were created from the album’s single covers Arrasany 3.0 of the artist. These covers symbolize the Brazilian natural resources, biodiversity and fauna, as well as the environmental problems disclosed daily, such as fires, deforestation, mining, among others.
“I designed the covers of my project to represent a post-apocalyptic Amazon, in a technological future where the physical and digital worlds meet”, explain YOHAN.
After launching the musical project, the artist transformed these materials into NFTs. Thus, the static covers have been transformed into animations that also have a fragment (looped piece of music) of each track. 30% of the first sales of each NFT will be donated to Idesam. the others 70% will be used to cover the costs of creating and disseminating NFTs.
“Furthermore, with the power of technology and blockchain, NFTs can be resold to third parties indefinitely. Therefore, with each resale, 2.5% of the value the NFT is resold will automatically be donated via cryptocurrency to Idesam, for life or as long as the OpenSea marketplace continues its activities”complete the artist.
The starting price of each NFTs will be from 0.53 ETHFrom BRL 5,000.00 in the current price of cryptocurrencies etherum.
