Paul McCartney said in an interview with BBC Radio 4 that the new music was taken from a demo: “it’s scary, but exciting”
In an interview with the program Today from BBC Radio 4 at the launch of her new book The eyes of the storm on the morning of Tuesday 13, Paul McCartney said they managed to get the item of John Lennon by means of Artificial intelligenceand with it, the arrival of a new registration of Beatles would be scheduled for later this year. Paul hasn’t confirmed dates or revealed what the song is.
“This is all kind of scary, but it’s also exciting because it’s the future,” McCartney says in conversation with show host Martha Kearney about the use of artificial intelligence.
“When we came to make what will be the last Beatles record…we were able to get John’s voice through artificial intelligence.”

Also according to the artist, the producers used an old recording of John Lennon to extract his voice. “It was a demo that John had that we worked on and we just finished it. We’re releasing it this year. We were able to take John’s voice and make it pure through this AI. Then we could mix the recording like normal we would,” he explained.
