When it comes to music, Tom Fletcher He says: “I’ve always written my best songs when they’re so specific about my life, my wife or the band. ‘Honey I’m Home’ is a mix of the two. Lyrically, I don’t know if it’s that obvious, but it’s about being in a relationship, and the person you’re with doesn’t even know that they almost lost you You’ve been through this whole journey alone, and the other person has no idea that you’re seeing the light again and realizing that this it’s where you are. You belong. You’re home. A lot of that resonates with me and the band; we’ve been together all these years and now know we almost missed each other and didn’t appreciate it at the time. Feeling at home was the band. We all go through that moment and the uncertainties that come with it. I didn’t even tell the guys that this is what I think of when I hear the song,” explained.
