The comedian expands his artistic range and returns to the stage with a song that mixes humor, rock and punk rock
Comedian Diogo Defante, who went viral at the World Cup in Qatar by covering the event on site, launches his first song on an author EP this Thursday 15th. the single jerrywhich gives the album its name, references the children’s story tom & jerryand tells the story of the mouse that stole his cheese.
The entry into the musical career marks the artist’s project to bring a new experience of humor to his audience, bringing chords mixing rock and punk rock. As well as fulfilling Defante’s dream of becoming a musician.
The song is now available on all digital platforms and the clip can be seen on the official YouTube channel of the comedian, who already has more than 2 million followers and is enjoying success with the pieces Repórter Doidão and Sem Risadola. According to the artist, the idea was to produce innovative content. “I wanted a clip that was different from the content I produce so people would understand how official this project is,” he said.
The work is signed by Daniel Ferro, a friend of Defante who has works with Chico Buarque, Elza Soares and Anitta in his portfolio. The production had 3 days and scenarios on the high seas.
On August 13, the comedian will perform at the Circus Voador, in Rio de Janeiro, returning to the stage after ten years.

The carioca from Realengo has been part of Rio de Janeiro’s rock underground for seven years, and has already played as drummer for the band Let’s Go, formed in 2003. Despite pursuing a career as a comedian, he always wanted to get back to playing.
On the Internet, Defante opened his first channel in 2012, under the name kaozada. In 2014 you worked with Felipe Neto for the Paramaker production house, on the Foco channel.
In late 2015, he decided to pursue a solo career on the internet and acted as director of Parafernalha, the second largest humorous sketch page in Brazil, founded in 2011.
In 2022, he went to the World Cup in Qatar as a CazéTV correspondent and went viral with his humorous tone in the country.
