Netflix announces the release date of Wham!

A Netflix announced the launch of new documentary on the duo bam!which achieved great success in 80s and was formed by the late George Michael (1963-2016) and Andrew Ridgeley.

The documentary, titled bam!is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform the same day July 5thpreceded by screenings in selected cinemas throughout the UK the week before launch.

bam! will revisit the musical duo’s trajectory, detailing their path to stardom and the massive success that followed in the 1980s.

“We met when I was 11 and Andrew was 12”explains the young man George Michael in the archive images presented in the official trailer.

One Andrew the old man adds: “And there was always only one thing I wanted to do: be in a band with George.”

According to a press release from the Netflixthe documentary presents “Unprecedented access to George and Andrew’s personal archive, including stunning never-before-seen footage as well as rare, candid and unedited interviews” and show “their incredible journey from schoolmates to superstars”.

bam! has its direction signed by Chris Smith.

George Michael Died in December 25, 2016to the 53 years old.
