Morrissey, formerly of The Smiths, will play two shows in Brazil in September this year
Morrissey will play two concerts in Brazil in 2023. The former vocalist of the band The Smiths should perform in São Paulo and Brasília on the 27th and 30th of September, respectively, according to an announcement made on its website and social networks.
Ticket prices have not yet been disclosed, but tickets should be sold by Ticket 360 at the São Paulo show, according to the Estadão. Also according to the newspaper, in Brasilia, the official sales platform should be Show Pass.
There will be a pre-sale on Friday, the 23rd. The general sale starts on the 30th of June.
On the official website of the musician, information about tickets has not yet been confirmed. In Brasilia, Morrissey must perform at the Opera Hall. The ad, however, has an error in the location of the presentation in São Paulo. The list indicates that the “Moviestar Arena” would be the chosen venue, although there is no place with this name in the city of São Paulo. Disregarding the spelling error, it is possible that the information refers to the show in Buenos Aires, where he plays at Movistar Arena (without the letter “E”).
