Born within the state of Alagoas, Hermeto Pascoal built one of the longest and most successful careers in Brazilian music. Admired around the world, this tireless genius is still active, composing and performing.
The last day May 19thHermeto Pascoal received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the prestigious The Juilliard school. The award was handed over by the hands of the musician Wynton Marsaliswho insisted on telling a little of the artist’s story at a ceremony held at lincoln centerIn New York (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA).
