Corey Taylor mentions “obstacles” standing in Stone Sour’s path
O stone sour is not expected to end hiatus any time soon, as revealed by Corey Taylor. In an interview with rock antenna (via NME), the vocalist mentioned other people’s “obstacles” preventing the band from returning.
“Not that I don’t miss some guys on stone sour – I still talk to them. But at this point, I refuse to compromise my vision and my art because of certain people’s obstacles. That’s all I’m going to say,” taylor declared.
the pause of stone sour started in 2020. The last album released was hydrogradfrom 2017.
The other band of Corey Taylor, Slipknot is still active, with new albums and concerts. However, the musician admitted that his retirement from the stage could be close: “While I manage to do [as turnês], and as long as there are people there to watch, I will continue. Now, if the quality starts to drop, I know it’s time to stop. I’ve thought about it, maybe there’s still five years left of touring like this. I try to take care of myself, I exercise when I can. Traveling in Europe is exhausting. The food is awful, so it’s tough.”
