Tico Santta Cruz publishes an open letter to Gusttavo Lima: ‘Don’t give up!’

In the text, Tico Santta Cruz also took the opportunity to advise Gusttavo Lima with contracts, entrepreneurs and contractors

after the singer Zé Neto criticize the intimate tattoo of anita and Rouanet Law, shows and country artists became targets of investigation. one of them was Gusttavo Limawho was investigated by the public ministry for three shows paid for by city halls. Last Wednesday, 1, Tico Santa Cruzof Detonatorspublished an open letter to the owner of “break up with me before.”

In the text, Holy Cross declared support for lime, recalled when he was persecuted and gave advice. “He knows, Gustavo, I saw snippets of your live, and how messed up you are with so much exposure,” wrote the singer. Do not give up!”

“Since 2014, I have suffered systematic attacks from sectors sympathetic to what you defend. When digital militias began to form, one of the first artists to be attacked was me,” he continued. “I was threatened with death so many times that I lost count of the number of police reports I had to do. Over the years, Gustavo, tried to asphyxiate me financially. I had to sell the house that took me years to buy, because the cowardice was so great that it greatly affected my work, my existence.”

Then, Tico Santa Cruz took the opportunity to give advice: “If you allow me, I can give you some advice: hang in there, if there is nothing that will actually incriminate you […], the truth will come out. Keep making your music, your shows, bringing your entertainment to your fans. Be more aware of how your manager and contractors, in this case, these city halls and other politicians, are using you to benefit from your enormous talent.”

And, of course, how immoral (you see, illegal and immoral are different words) it can be for an artist who enjoys a life with so many privileges to accept that kind of money. Pay more attention to contracts, who is hiring and where is the resource that will pay your bills coming from.

Detonauts releases clip for ‘Politics of Pets’ – now with criticism of the PT movement

This Friday, the 11th, the Detonators released the clip “Pet Politicians”single in partnership with the rapper Giant on the Mic.

After attacking the family Bolsonaro and the fake news in “Micheque” and “Gay Kit”the band now criticizes widespread political idolatry, although it makes obvious references to the PT flag and, again, to the “Armed Fatherland” with which Jair Bolsonaro (no party), current president of Brazil, flirts.

“The idea is to make the public reflect on the importance of valuing ideas, agendas, positions, and not personalism. A politician is not doing anyone any favors, he is elected to work for the people”, said the Detonators.

The video was scripted by Tico Santa Cruzdirected by Rômulo Menescal and produced by Lord Bull Filmes. Watch below:
