Pop star Taylor Swift has released her long-awaited album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), another of the singer’s reinterpretations for the first albums of her career. The album is already available on digital platforms from Universal Music, via Registers of the Republic.
Originally released in 2010, the album Speak Now it was the third in the artist’s career. The announcement of the new version of the album came in a big way as the singer performed on stage at The Eras Tour in May this year.
At the time, the singer said: “The songs that have emerged from this period of my life have been marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diary confessions and wild melancholy. I love this album because it tells a story of growing up, struggling, flying and falling – and living to talk about it” .
Speak Now it brought several successes and was widely celebrated in ceremonies around the world. It’s also worth mentioning that its re-recording will follow the albums Fearless (Taylor’s version) AND Red (Taylor’s version)both released in 2021.
More recently, when he released the back cover of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)Taylor wrote about his networks: “So excited to show you the back cover of ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ including tracks from ‘vault’ and collaborations with @yelyahwilliams of @paramore and @falloutboy. Since ‘Speak Now’ was just about my way of writing songs, I decided to reach out to the artists who influenced me the most as a songwriter at the time and ask them to sing on the album. They were so kind and generous for agreeing to support my version of “Speak Now”. Recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up) and can’t wait to reveal it all on July 7th.”
